Welcome!

Welcome to the official website of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 313: The Bionic Zebras!

What is FIRST?

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. Not only do they learn about how robots function, they also learn important skills that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
There are four programs in FIRST:
Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr.FLL) involving children from ages 6 to 9.
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) involving children from ages 9 to 14.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) involving high-schoolers.
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) involving high-schoolers. (This is what we do)

Over the years, we have received awards for our accomplishments and we aspire to become a major contender at the FRC International Competition.
